FarmScape at St. Louis Ballpark Village, presented by Anheuser-Busch and hosted by the Missouri Department of Agriculture, is back for a second year. You will not want to miss this free event filled with livestock, farm equipment, a farmers’ market, Missouri foods and beverages, youth events including the corn trailer with toy tractors, face painting and live entertainment! Young and old, you’re invited to escape to the farm for a day in downtown St. Louis and interact face-to-face with the men and women who produce your food. The fun runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, and will include:

  • FCS Financial & Mizzou College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Youth Zone

Family fun unlike any other – farm animals, tractors, photo booth and interactive & educational games including the POET corn trailer with toy tractors, face painting, balloons, a coloring station and much more. The kids will love Cornelius Cob (a.k.a. Corny), a seven foot tall, animated, talking corn cob. Corny shares interesting ag facts and his fair share of corny jokes.

The best of Missouri food and drink! From pears to pork, hundreds of fresh, tasty and nutritious products are grown by men and women of Missouri agriculture every day and you’ll find a sampling of them at the Missouri Grown Farmers’ Market. Grandma's Nuts, The Blue Hill Co, Freddie Lee's Ghetto Sauce, Two Men and a Garden, The Caramel House, Start Right Foods, Marina’s Ketchup and Spaghetti Sauce, Schneider Farms and Sisters Garden Gate Recipes will be on site!

Hear directly from Missouri farm families and listen to stories about life on the farm. Take a stroll through the Osborn Barr Livestock Barn to see cattle, horses, pigs and other animals up close.

SoulRoot will kick off the live music at 12 p.m. with music from every genre. Then, enjoy a full-blown country-rock concert from Broseph E. Lee on the Busch II Infield Stage at 2 p.m.

Ask the tough questions and get answers from the men and women who raise and grow our food!
