Pursuant to Section 261.265.1, RSMo, Missouri Department of Agriculture is authorized to issue up to two cultivation and production facility licenses to nonprofit entities to grow or cultivate the cannabis plant used to make hemp extract as defined in subsection 1 of section 195.207. Can I grow hemp for the production of hemp extract?
Only the two licensed entities listed above can grow hemp for the production of hemp extract in Missouri.
Can I apply for a license to grow hemp?
No new applications will be accepted until the number of licensed entities is less than the current statutory maximum or additional licensing authority is granted by law.
