Counties – Butler, Dunklin and Ripley
Action – Effective April 18, 2018, due to the Administrator's Physical Loss Notification N1327 in Arkansas, three Missouri counties have been designated as natural disasters for physical loss loan assistance. This action made Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loan assistance available due to excessive rain, flash flooding, flooding, high winds and tornadoes which occurred January 21, 2018, and continuing.

Counties – Barry, Butler, Dunklin, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Ripley, Stone and Taney
Action – Effective March 8, 2018, due to the secretarial disaster declaration S4278 in Arkansas, nine Missouri counties have been designated as natural disasters for physical and/or production loss loan assistance. This action made Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loan assistance available due to drought which occurred Nov. 07, 2017.

Secretarial Disaster Designation
Counties – Butler, Franklin, Lincoln, Maries, St. Charles, Warren, Webster, Wright
Action – Due to the secretarial disaster declaration, eight Missouri counties have been designated as primary natural disaster areas due to a recent drought. for physical and/or production loss loan assistance. A Secretarial disaster designation makes farm operators in primary counties and those counties contiguous to such primary counties eligible to be considered for certain assistance from the Farm Service Agency (FSA), provided eligibility requirements are met. This assistance includes FSA emergency loans. Farmers in eligible counties have 8 months from the date of a Secretarial disaster declaration to apply for emergency loans. FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of production losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

Counties – Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte
Action – Effective November 7, 2017, due to the Presidential major disaster declaration M4347 in Kansas, four Missouri counties have been designated as natural disasters for physical and/or production loss loan assistance. This action made Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loan assistance available due to severe storms, straight-line winds and flooding which occurred July 22-27, 2017.

Counties – Putnam and Schuyler
Action – Effective September 29, 2017, due to the secretarial disaster designation S4225 in Iowa, two Missouri counties have been designated as natural disasters for physical and/or production loss loan assistance. This action made Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loan assistance available due to drought which occurred July 25, 2017, and continuing.

This action made Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loan assistance available due to flooding, hail, high winds, lightning and tornadoes which occurred June 28, 2017.

Action – Effective August 25, 2017, due to the Secretarial disaster declaration S4209 in Iowa, three Missouri counties have been designated as natural disasters for physical and/or production loss loan assistance. This action made Farm Service Agency (FSA) emergency loan assistance available due to drought which occurred August 15, 2017.
