Peanut Inspection Services
In 2020, Missouri was designated as a primary peanut-production state. In 2022, the Missouri Department of Agriculture entered into a Specialty Crop Cooperative Agreement with USDA to inspect peanuts. In its first year, the program inspected over 22,000 tons of Farmers' Stock Peanuts.
This service is implemented by the Grain Inspection Services program, through the New Madrid Service Point office.
