Missouri Wines iPhone App Now Available

The Missouri Wine and Grape Board and Hydrogen Software LLC are pleased to announce the release of the Missouri Wines application for Apple iPhone and iPad. With a wealth of wine knowledge now at your fingertips, navigating Missouri Wine Country has never been easier.

The free application is packed with features and is available for download from iTunes. Users can browse the entire directory of Missouri wineries or locate them specifically by name, by city or by trail. Information about each winery, including their hours, contact information and website, is available. Users will also find a searchable, interactive map that allows them to view every winery in the state and narrow them down within specific mileage points.

"We are excited about this new app and the many features it offers," said Jim Anderson, Executive Director of the Missouri Wine and Grape Board. "We see it as an additional resource that will help our consumers connect with our great wineries and increase wine tourism across the state."

In addition to being used as a navigation tool, the Missouri Wines application provides history about the Missouri wine industry and information about the state's dynamic grape varietals. It even offers a food and wine pairing guide, which can be dictated by varietal or by food.

The application also features a wine log where users can keep wine notes in one convenient location and access them at any time. The wine log allows users to store details of the wines they taste, rate individual wines and even save photos of their favorites.
