Department of Agriculture Launches New AgriMissouri Website
As part of National Agriculture Week, the Missouri Department of Agriculture launched a new website for the AgriMissouri program. Through the new site, consumers can easily find fresh and wholesome Missouri-grown food and farm products, exciting agritourism destinations and the people and businesses sharing their farms and agricultural lifestyles.
During a visit to the new AgriMissouri.com, consumers will have all of the tools necessary to find items made and grown in the Show-Me State. And the new, interactive AgriMissouri map makes it easier than ever before to see the many opportunities available for those interested in experiencing the diverse offerings of Missouri agriculture.
"AgriMissouri.com is about reducing the distance between producers and consumers and allowing consumers to find Missouri products," said Director of Agriculture Dr. Jon Hagler. "Whether it's fruits, greenhouse perennials, fresh, wholesome vegetables or a bed and breakfast, trail ride, local farmers' market or another agritourism destination, AgriMissouri.com is your one-stop source to find everything that is Missouri."
For more than 25 years, the AgriMissouri program has assisted members in marketing their farm products and agritourism destinations, connecting producers to consumers and consumers to agriculture. AgriMissouriTM represents food and non-food processed farm products including fresh fruits, vegetables, horticultural products and agritourism destinations throughout the state. The program identifies Missouri brands and destinations through marketing. To learn more about AgriMissouriTM, visit www.agrimissouri.com.
