Missouri Agriculture Updates -- May 20, 2017
Today marks 100 days since Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn was confirmed by the Senate. Her first 100 days have been spent in 'listening mode,' learning more about the most efficient and meaningful ways to protect and promote Missouri agriculture. Director Chinn has continued her efforts to bridge the gap between urban and rural Missourians, she’s been in the thick of trade discussions, shared impactful insight with future agriculture leaders, and gained valuable input from Missouri’s resilient and generous farmers and ranchers. If the first 100 days are any indication, the future of Missouri agriculture is in incredibly capable hands!
Next week, Director Chinn will seamlessly transition into ‘doing mode’ when she announces her vision for the Missouri Department of Agriculture under her leadership. Stay tuned! Click here to see this week's edition of Missouri Agriculture Updates.
