Tyne Morgan to host U.S. Farm Report during 48th Missouri Governor’s Conference on Agriculture

Missourian, agriculture journalist and national television host Tyne Morgan will return to the Show Me State to host the U.S. Farm Report at the 48th Missouri Governor’s Conference on Agriculture. The recording will kick-off the conference by bringing critical market analysis, the latest trade negotiation updates and a farm bill breakdown to Missouri farmers & ranchers.  

 “Tyne is a great example of how one Missourian can empower farmers and ranchers and reach our consumers with the positive story of Missouri agriculture,” said Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn. “As a longtime personal friend of mine, I am honored that she will be bringing the U.S. Farm Report team with her to this year’s conference. Tyne is one of the most talented storytellers in agriculture, and we know that she will arm farmers and ranchers with the information they need for 2019.”

Agriculture economists Dr. John Anderson, chairman of the business, applied and technical sciences at the College of the Ozarks, Dr. Scott Brown, director of strategic partnerships at the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, and Dr. Pat Westhoff, director of the Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute, will serve on the expert panel.

Morgan, a Missouri girl who has generations of agriculture rooted in her blood, was born and raised in Lexington, Mo. She began her agriculture journalism career at the age of 16 broadcasting farm market updates and agriculture news for KMZU radio, and today serves as the first female host of the U.S. Farm Report. She attended the University of Missouri where she majored in agriculture journalism with an emphasis in broadcast. While in college, she was a farm broadcast intern for Brownfield Ag News and was named the 2006 Missouri State Fair Queen.
