Certified Industrial Hemp Sampler
Once a person’s application is approved by the Missouri Department of Agriculture and a certification number (29_CSXXXXX) has been received, that person is authorized to collect compliance samples for Registered Producers who hire them. All compliance samples must be collected in accordance with the Missouri Department of Agriculture Sampling Protocol.

Compliance Sampling | All industrial hemp lots must be sampled within fifteen (15) days prior to harvest by a Certified Industrial Hemp Sampler in accordance with the Sampling Protocol. |

Annual Report | For Reporting Period: Jan. 2, 2020 – Nov. 1, 2020 Sampling Log(s) for all samples collected during the reporting period must be submitted by Nov. 6, 2020.

Certification Process
To become certified, an individual must complete the following requirements within sixty (60) days: complete an approved training course, pass the certification examination with a score of 80% or higher, and mail a completed Certified Industrial Hemp Sampler application to the Department with a nonrefundable fifty-dollar ($50) fee.
Certified Industrial Hemp Samplers can also be Registered Producers or Permit holders, but cannot collect compliance samples for registrations in their name, in their employer’s name, or in which they are a key participant.
